Nightlife in Koblenz

If you are staying in Koblenz, you have many different opportunities to spent your night.

First you have to choose, whether you want to stay in one of the many different pubs, visit a cocktail bar or going to a club.

In Koblenz there is a big pub culture. There are many different pubs in the historic centre like for example Spöckes, which is a special point for gamers. Here you can play a lot of board games or popular „pub sports“ like dart, kicker or billiard. It is always well visited and there is a quite friendly community. 

Another  famous pub ist the Irish Pub Koblenz. The Irish Pub Koblenz is one of the oldest pubs in Koblenz. Owner Shay Dwyer openend it with a friend more than 25 years ago. Alongside of the beautiful river Mosel and just a few steps away from the German Corner (Deutsches Eck) he is bringing Irish tradition to people from all over the world. The pub is open every evening and it has got an interesting agenda like for example the karaoke evening on Wednesday . A real insider tip is the irish pub on St. Patricks day on 17. March. The annual big St. Patrick's Day Party in the Irish Pub Koblenz. Green hair, clothes, beer, just everything that needs or can be green will be welcome here. Come in and join the big party.

But there are still more possibilities in Koblenz to go out.

At the „Josef-Görres-Platz“ you can find a very nice cocktail bar, called „Enchilada“. It is a great place to meet with friends, eat some mexican food and drink really good cocktails. It is always well visited and the ambiance is quite authentic in a mexican tweedy style.

But now i think it is enough about Pubs and Cocktail Bars… kind of boring stuff…

We are students and we want to paaaarty !!!

Because of many students from the University Koblenz and the Hochschule Koblenz you can almost go out every night. So you have to choose between a lot of partys in the Nightlife of Koblenz and the nearby Cities.

There a special offers for students as well as for those who are not.

First i want to present you the student club No. 1. It is called “Zenit Club”. Every Thursday there is a student special called Nerds². For students entry is free. At first you get a welcome shot for getting in the right mood. The other drinks are payable for students. For example you can get a beer for 1€! So you never have to fear of being alone in Zenit Club ;) The Zenit Club has two floors with different styles of music. I think there is something for everyone – you can listen Rock or Pop or go down with the Hip Hop Beats. It is the perfect place to go out and have fun with your friends from University.

If you want to go out a little bit trendier in Koblenz you have to visit the Palais.
It is also called “The House which never sleeps” because at the day it is a really nice restaurant and in the evening it is changing to an exclusive club.

A lot of Motto Partys and other cool events take place here!
